To all of my friends, relatives and family members,
It was so exciting to get in touch with you all. There were so many pictures of each of you flashing through my head in the past 2 days. The classroom, the basketball court, the lotus pond, the morning gathering........................
50 years has been a long time, I even don't know where to start. My life has been kind of boring and stayed in the middle of US for more than 37 years. I left Taiwan in 1973, finished my master degree in Chemistry then made the decision to try medical school at Kansas University.
There went the next 34 years. My daughter Angela will be working at the law firm in Chicago in Jan next year, and my son Justin will be finishing college next year and he is looking forward to get into graduate school for his PhD. degree in engineer. No more medicine.
My old house in Taipei has been long gone. I went back once to look at it. The only place that I can recognize was my neighbor's house and it looked so old.
David, if I am not mistaken, the last time we were together was at your home and playing monopoly with Wang Gin Tai.
Looking back, fifty years just likes a dream and I think it's about time to look after ourselves.
So sign me up for the reunion event in Oct.
